I've tested the game under Proton in Ubuntu 20.04 and performance was very good, almost identical to Windows. I haven't tested recently (a couple months back now), but at the time the only issue was some of the tutorial video popups weren't playing. I believe that's something that can be fixed with the Media Foundations patch, though recent Proton releases might already address this.

I tested with a Radeon Vega 64 using the kisak-mesa PPA (though the default mesa drivers should be fine).

afaik valve cant use Media Foundation, because of copyright stuff
there is a 3rd party proton with MF

but it does not work for all MF titles and can be buggy

maybe there is a way for you to avoid MF for your game?

For sure i'd prefer a native build but i really appreciate the fact you tested the game on Linux. Wishlisted
